1. For the surface treatment of glass fibers and the treatment of reinforced plastic laminates, it can condensate with silicone alcohol on glass surface and form covalent bonds with glass to improve the adhesion, heat resistance and water resistance of glass fibers to unsaturated polyesters, epoxy resins and acrylic resins. It can also be used as a coupling agent of silicon dioxide filler for rubber, as well as as as a chlorinated resin modifier and raw material for synthesizing various organosilicon products.      
2. Used in organic synthesis, as intermediates in the manufacture of silicone, coupling agents of adhesives and chemical reagents.

Storage room is ventilated and dried at low temperature, and stored separately from oxidants and acids.
