1. Surfactant is a kind of substance which can significantly change (usually reduce) the surface tension of liquid or the interfacial tension between two phases. Surfactant molecules contain two components: hydrophilic and hydrophobic, which tend to concentrate on the interface between the liquid and the other phase in the liquid, forming a thin molecular membrane and reducing the tension, so as to have wetting, emulsification, dispersion, foaming and other functions. There are cationic, anionic and dual surfactants, which are widely used in many kinds.


2. Generally speaking, organosilicon refers to polysiloxane products or silane and polysilane products. Strictly speaking, compounds containing Si-C bond are called organosilicon.


3. it is widely used as Foamer for polyurethane foam, and can also be used as an additive for demoulding, lubrication, antifoaming, antistatic fabric finishing and demulsifier for crude oil.


4. The main component of silicone defoamer is called silicone oil. Silicone oil is a nonvolatile oil-like liquid at room temperature. It is insoluble in water, animal and vegetable oil and mineral oil, or its solubility is very small. It can not only withstand high temperature, but also low temperature. Chemical property is inert, physical property is stable, no biological activity.
