201 methyl silicone oil is a novel silicone synthetic material. Appearance is colorless and transparent oily liquid. Its chemical composition is straight-chain polymethylsiloxane. Due to the stability of the silicon-oxygen bond and the hydrophobicity of the methyl group, as well as the structural characteristics of the polymethylsiloxane, the methyl silicone oil has good heat resistance. sex. High flash point, non-volatile, low viscosity coefficient, high compression force, low surface tension, chemical stability, good electrical (insulation) properties, and water and moisture resistance, non-toxic to organisms (including humans). In order to make methyl silicone oil form a thin film on the surface of other objects or make it into a rubber-like solid substance, it can be cured by heating at high temperature (250-300°C) or adding an appropriate catalyst (usually peroxide). The use temperature range of methyl silicone oil is 50-180°C.

The physicochemical properties and characteristic parameters of methyl silicone oils with different viscosities also have certain differences. The product is classified according to the viscosity, and there are 201-10, 201-50, 201-100, 201-350, 201-500, 201-800, 201-1000 and other grades. It can also be made into products with other special viscosity specifications according to the requirements of users.

Where can simethicone be used?
1. It is used as an insulating medium for temperature resistance, arc resistance, corrosion resistance and moisture resistance in electrical and electronic industries.
2. As an excellent heat carrier in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industrial sectors.
3. As an efficient defoamer in synthetic resin, oil processing, food manufacturing, fermentation, papermaking and other processes.
4. Used for shockproof, damping, lubrication, force transmission, etc. in precision machinery and instruments.
5. Used as a high-temperature release agent in the molding and processing of plastics and rubber, as well as in food production
6. As a surface treatment agent on glass, ceramics, metal, leather, fabric, silk and cement products to achieve the effects of reinforcement, drainage, anti-corrosion, mildew resistance, and smoothness.
7. As an additive in paint, grease, cosmetics and other products to improve the performance of leveling and smoothness.
8. In medical treatment, such as surgery, wound dressing, injection treatment, blood storage and oral medicine, it has many uses.

Precautions
1. When methyl silicone oil is heated, it will have a certain destructive effect in contact with acid or alkali. When methyl silicone oil is in contact with air above 200 ° C, it can undergo oxidation and precipitate corrosive low boiling substances such as formaldehyde. Methyl silicone oil Although it will not spontaneously ignite at normal temperatures, it will cause combustion when it reaches the burning point (450°C-500°C) or contact will cause a large amount of cotton-like silica to fill the space (in case of fire, it can be suppressed with sand or wet sacks) .
2. If the methyl silicone oil is well packaged and stored, it can last for a long time without deterioration (the storage period is tentatively set at 5 years, after the expiration date, it can be re-inspected, and if no deterioration is found, it can continue to be named).
