Li Siyuan, female, Han nationality, born in August 2000, is a member of the Communist Youth League. She is an accounting (Sino foreign cooperation) 2018 student of the school of economics and management of Beijing University of technology. He has won the first prize in the National College English competition, the first prize in the National College English speech competition, and the second prize in the final of the 21st century cup speech competition in Beijing.
Patriotism and love the party
I was born in a family of Party members. My parents, grandparents, uncles and uncles are all Party members. Since my childhood, my elders have taught me to love my motherland, support the leadership of the party and devote my whole life to the party and the people. When I entered the University, I submitted my application for joining the party. Later, I passed the talk of joining the party and became an activist. Since I started school, I have always been correct in thinking, aggressive and strict with myself. This year's National Day parade square training, but also my character has been training, ideological level has been improved. In the past two months, I have been training in strict accordance with the requirements, and actively signed up to join the pacesetter platoon. It's a great honor for me personally, and it means more sweat than others. Often others disbanded, we have to train, step on the beat again and again in the playground, sign face, practice expression. In order not to delay training and stay in the pacesetter, I gave up the IELTS test in September. But I never thought it was not worth it. In the past rehearsals, whenever I walked through the city tower in the front row of the school square, excitement, pride and pride always filled my whole body, and encouraged me to come back and continue to participate in training with full enthusiasm. This is the highlight of my life, a precious opportunity I have never imagined, and the most sincere and profound patriotism education I have ever received.
I love the party, the collective and dedication. Since primary school, I have been working as a monitor in the class, fulfilling all daily tasks dutifully. The monitor of the university needs to plan and organize many class activities, such as moral education opening, reading meeting, group day, etc., which exercise my organizational ability and communication ability, and also make me establish friendship with many students. I also led the whole class to get the second place in the total score in the challenge of new students of the school of economics and management, which made me feel the sense of achievement brought by this job.
Enthusiastic and voluntary efforts to shine
I am enthusiastic about voluntary public welfare. I am now deputy director of the campus Department of Yanhe star volunteer corps, with 144 hours of volunteer time. I just entered Yanhe River, but I have no idea about voluntary activities. Now, I am determined to transfer positive energy to the surrounding areas and realize a more meaningful life.
Stick to germination enthusiasm in cold winter
The first time I planned green plant exchange, I felt that it was not easy to organize a voluntary activity. The field was in the cold winter of December. We need to recycle the waste paper, bottles and cans brought by the students, and register the quantity for green plants. On that day, the cold wind was cold and the temperature was as low as minus 10 degrees. Many volunteers did not have gloves. I had gloves but my hands were frozen stiff and painful. I, as one of the principals, and several male students stuck in the outfield of Danfeng. Everyone was flushed and shivering. Due to the shortage of manpower and the excessive amount of waste products in the later stage, everyone had to stay on the outfield, unable to go to lunch, so they had to buy a cup of coffee from the vending machine in the hall of the dormitory building to keep warm. When I arrived at another field for help, I had to face hundreds of bottles and boxes by myself and began to clean them by myself. This activity exposed a lot of omissions caused by our lack of experience, such as manpower arrangement and material preparation; our response to severe weather was also insufficient, and we did not remind volunteers to prepare gloves in advance. But this time, I met a lot of volunteers who stick to their posts. I was deeply moved by their spirit of due diligence, and I also felt a sense of belonging to Yanhe. At the end of the first semester, I won the title of "excellent volunteer" in the campus department.
Change your mind, choose to stick
As a member of the Department and later temporary minister, I participated in the planning and organization of spring green plant exchange, earth hour and other activities in the second semester, committed to the dissemination of the concept of environmental protection in the school, with a total number of participants reaching hundreds; I also participated in hundreds of lecture halls, Yanhe Gang delivery and other volunteer services. Many volunteer activities are not very interesting in fact, but simple work such as moving materials, arranging sites, distributing flyers, etc. are mechanically repeated, which makes people feel less accomplished. Some activities that sound warm and meaningful are not easy to implement, such as visiting the elderly in a nursing home. Many old people are not willing to open their hearts to a strange young person, so only long-term persistence can build a long-term friendship with the old people. Due to my study arrangement on weekends, I seldom have time to go to the nursing home. This time, I feel frustrated and frustrated. So I once thought of giving up my stay. But my pre campaign training changed my mind. In the dry training, my teammates and I - many of whom are now ministers - put forward a lot of improvement measures for the earth hour program, hoping to change it from a simple activity of spreading ideas to a practice of driving everyone to implement environmental protection actions. I am very pleased that our plan has been unanimously approved by the team leader. This also strengthened my idea of staying in office. Only by staying, can we plan more meaningful and far-reaching volunteer activities and transfer more positive energy. Isn't that what we want to do as a volunteer?
Full harvest from voluntary practice
Summer vacation, I did not stop the pace of volunteering. From June 30 to July 7, I participated in the venue volunteer service of the world horticultural exposition. My Qatar Pavilion has five floors in total, and its facilities are very exquisite and rich. Therefore, it is one of the most popular national pavilions, with more than 4500 tourists a day and even 10000 working days. My main job is to receive, guide, distribute souvenirs and answer questions on the second floor of the venue. The work is not complicated, but we should keep smiling and politeness repeated many times every day, which is very patient. Qatari museum will give tourists free taste of local specialty dates. Many tourists litter the packaging and date cores, which brings a lot of burden to the work of cleaning aunt. Therefore, I must constantly remind tourists to put garbage in the box or take it outside the venue for food. At the end of my schedule, I will go to other floors for a walk, pick up the garbage when I meet it, and help aunt cleaning to reduce some of the burden. In a large museum like the Qatar Pavilion, there are professionals in charge of the commentary, but tourists will ask questions when they meet volunteers in volunteer clothes. In my spare time, I will go to other floors to learn more about the exhibits. One day CCTV came to the Qatar Pavilion to record programs and interview the curator. In the process of helping guide tourists to avoid the recording area, I also learned more about Qatar from the interviews. Learn more, and tourists can answer me more comprehensively. These are not my responsibilities, but I feel the joy of volunteering.
During the week of the Expo, I also participated in the volunteer service of Turkey national day. At noon, we will help to welcome the visiting Turkish Minister of Commerce and distribute Turkish flags and flowers to foreign guests and tourists at the welcome ceremony. After the ceremony, the minister visited the museum, which was temporarily closed, but many tourists wanted to come in. My friends and I spent hours in the hot sun to maintain order. But at last, I saw the National Day held smoothly, saw the happy smiling faces of tourists, and heard the sincere thanks from the person in charge. I felt very happy. During the seven days of service, I have learned a lot, and I am very proud to represent Beili to show the volunteer style to the national tourists and international friends.
Back home, I started the 2019 digital welcome volunteer service. In two weeks, I have five hours of shift every day to answer questions for new students in the welcome group. Before that, I also helped to solve the doubts of my classmates and parents in the Beili application consulting group of Shijiazhuang No. This is not a strict voluntary service, but a passion to repay my alma mater. When I entered the University, I was ignorant and confused. Senior high school seniors and senior sisters gave me a lot of help. The alumni group made me feel the warmth of home. Now I also want to be a student sister. I think the best way to repay them is to pass on the enthusiasm, unity and friendship of the people of the two middle schools and the north, so as to warm and help the students.
Volunteer activities are many but not complicated, even very ordinary. What it needs is patience, carefulness, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility. Volunteering is a process of two-way learning and progress. It is a process of dedication to others and self-development. I chose to stay as the star of Yanhe as my sophomore. I also hope that with my own efforts, I can transfer more love and dedication, spread knowledge, burn enthusiasm, and become a small star that makes great efforts to shine in the vast sea of people. With the spirit of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress", I will firmly go on.
My love for my family and the collective, and my love for volunteering, inspired me to work hard in the past, the present and the future, to "get rid of the cold air, just go up". It's a long way to go. As a young man, I must not forget my original intention, forge ahead and become a useful talent for the society and the motherland.
