The school of foreign languages of Beijing University of technology can be traced back to the Russian teaching and research group established by Beijing Institute of technology in 1952. Foreign language teaching and Research Office was established in 1960, foreign language department was established in 1984, and foreign language institute was established in 2006. The college consists of English Department, Japanese department, German department, Spanish Department, College English teaching and research section, postgraduate English teaching and research section, doctoral English teaching and research section and foreign language training center (the German training results issued by the center are recognized by the German government and universities). The college undertakes the task of public foreign language teaching for undergraduates and postgraduates in the University, trains undergraduates and postgraduates of foreign language major, and carries out foreign language teaching and research.
Introduction to the current situation of the College
The college now has four undergraduate programs in English, Japanese, German and Spanish. It also has master's degree in foreign language and literature, master's degree in translation (MTI) and master's degree in Chinese international education. The first level master's program of foreign language and literature consists of five research directions: linguistics, English for special purposes, British and American literature, Japanese language and literature, and German language and literature. Relying on the advantageous resources of science, engineering and discipline management, the college adheres to the principle of "student-oriented", respects students' personality, integrates professional education, quality training and personalized development, and takes it as its own duty to cultivate high-quality foreign language talents with humanistic spirit and scientific spirit, both moral and talent, and integration of Chinese and western. There are 93 full-time teachers, including 8 professors (1 foreign), 37 associate professors. There are nearly 500 undergraduates and postgraduates.
According to the needs of "double first-class" construction of the University, in order to further promote the strategy of strengthening the university with talents and strengthen the construction of the talent team of the college, we are now open to recruiting outstanding young backbone teachers at home and abroad.
Recruitment discipline
Foreign language and Literature (English, German, Spanish; computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, syntax, semantics, language acquisition, translation and other research fields are preferred), Chinese language and Literature (Chinese grammar, teaching Chinese as a foreign language or international teaching of Chinese are preferred)

Basic conditions
Excellent fresh graduates (including postdoctors) from well-known universities at home and abroad are trained in the way of full-time unified recruitment, with doctoral degree. It has excellent academic background, solid basic language skills and strong scientific research ability. In principle, the age shall not exceed 32.
