On the morning of April 16, 2020, Wu Zhuolu, member of the Party group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of Haidian District People's Congress of Beijing, led a team to visit Ren Zhiyu, deputy to the 16th Haidian District People's Congress and President of Beijing University of science and technology, and followed up the handling of the written proposal "suggestions on solving the problem of" disconnection outside the school gate "submitted by Ren Zhiyu's representative to the people's Congress Guo Jingyu, director of the office of education, science, culture and health of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, Guo Shaodong, director of the office of urban construction and environmental protection, Fu Haitao, director of the sub district office, and Yang Xuesong, deputy director, accompanied the visit. Representatives of the urban management committee, the street, the construction unit and the municipal professional design institute participated in the discussion and had in-depth exchanges on the road reconstruction outside the school gate and the environmental improvement work.
President Ren Zhiyu introduced to Director Wu Zhuolu the key points, measures and achievements of school epidemic prevention and control and school trial preparation during the epidemic. And accompanied the visiting guests to visit the campus.
At the symposium, Wu Zhuolu, director of the National People's Congress, expressed condolences to the school and praised the efforts made by the school to ensure the opening of the spring junior high school. She pointed out that "the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress is a bridge built by the government for representatives and undertakers. We hope that relevant units of all parties can strengthen communication and actively cooperate through this bridge, continue to promote the progress of handling the proposals proposed by the National People's Congress, and practically achieve" people's livelihood has changed, people's voice has responded ".
Director Fu Haitao said that "it is of great significance to renovate the surrounding environment of the campus, which has always been one of the key works of the street. On the basis of the existing renovation results, the street will increase cooperation with relevant departments to discuss practical solutions, and continue to renovate the surrounding environment of the school, so that the left hand has action and the right hand has attitude."
At the meeting, president Ren Zhiyu expressed his gratitude to the visitors, "this section of the alley leading to the school is narrow and narrow, people and vehicles mix when going to and from work, and the flow is relatively large. Our students used to go to and from school and cross traffic with vehicles is very dangerous. With the strong support and care of the superior leaders, the streets and lanes of Zizhuyuan were reconstructed. The Hutong has been dredged. Every time we pass, the vehicles will yield to the pedestrians. We are much more secure in our hearts. " And to accelerate the implementation of school gate travel safety issues, improve the traffic environment, improve traffic capacity, expressed good expectations.
Relevant persons in charge of Shanghai Urban Management Committee and Hailongda company put forward suggestions according to the investigation. For example, traffic cameras have been installed on the roads for students to go to and from school, daily patrols and traffic order management have been strengthened on this road section, and traffic safety and smoothness have been greatly improved.
This proposal is proposed by Ren Zhiyu, the president of our school and the deputy of the District People's Congress, based on the public opinion of the people's livelihood after a field visit, a detailed investigation of the current situation of the surrounding environment of the campus and a thorough understanding of the real situation. It is a suggestion to ensure the traffic safety of the teachers and students in the secondary school attached to science and engineering and the hidden danger of the life safety of the surrounding residents. It embodies the wisdom of the people attached to science and engineering, conveys the social voice and carries the expectations of the masses.
At present, the environment at the school gate has also been greatly improved. The surrounding buildings have been demolished completely, and the environment has changed. Our school's deputies to the National People's Congress give full play to the advantages of "representatives from the people, rooted in the people", actively perform their duties, worry about the concerns of the residents, teachers and students, and also provide the people with an elegant education atmosphere and a safe travel environment. At the same time, it also provides protection for the beginning of the third year of senior high school attached to science and technology.
