Zou Yuchu, male, Han nationality, born in August 1999 in Yan'an, Shaanxi Province, is a preparatory Party member of the Communist Party of China and a 2017 level student majoring in mechanical engineering in the school of machinery and vehicles, Beijing University of technology. He has won 2 first prizes, 1 second prize and 1 third prize of excellent student scholarship.
"Yan'an root" is down-to-earth, "military spirit" is looking up to the stars. This is my pursuit of North Polytechnic when I was young, and also my requirement for myself after I came to North Polytechnic. At first, my parents engraved on my name is meaningful, is still the same in the wind and rain forward.

I am Zou Yuchu, from Yan'an, Shaanxi Province. I grew up in the fertile soil that gave birth to the Chinese revolution and the Beijing University of technology. I have the same root and blood with Beili, which makes me deeply attached to this campus. I want to serve the country with science and technology. I grew up in a revolutionary family. When I was a child, I heard from the older generation about the hardships and greatness of the Chinese revolution and the hardships of the Yan'an Academy of natural sciences. When I knew that the Yan'an Academy of natural sciences was Beijing University of technology, I was full of longing for this university. When I grew up, I heard from the teachers about the glory and achievements of the Republic. When I knew how to read When most of the soldiers' equipment was studied by Beijing University of technology, I was full of admiration for this university. I yearn for Beili, I love Beili, I have the same ideal with Beili, I want to work with her side by side.
When I first entered the North polytechnic school, I had a strong sense of belonging. This is the place where the dream began. Zou Yuchu wanted to use the first heart of Yan'an's chizi to integrate national defense feelings and express the North Polytechnic dream.

Looking back on entering the University for more than a year, adhering to the school motto of "morality, wisdom, science and precision", in the rigorous style of study, I am steadily moving forward, and constantly moving towards the ideal!
As a college student, I deeply know that in today's society, competition is so fierce. If we want to grow into a person who is useful to the country, the society and the people, we must adhere to the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical and other aspects, with both excellent character and learning, excellent comprehensive quality and expertise. It is also true that I have been strict with myself since I entered university for more than one year. I have been strict with myself in all aspects. In Yan'an family, I was taught by my parents and Communist Party members from their childhood. Looking at the starry sky, my heart is on the road
In the summer vacation of the first year of my university, I gave up my rest time and carried out targeted poverty alleviation survey in Xiawa village, Yanchang County, Yan'an City and other poor rural areas. While learning the national policies, I felt the hardship of the poor people's life. As an ideal and responsible college student, I must work hard to learn scientific and cultural knowledge and actively participate in social construction.
I also chose social research in my sophomore summer vacation. On March 16, 2019, at the initiative of Beijing University of science and technology, nine universities emerged from the war of resistance against Japan in Yan'an and established Yanhe University Talent Training Alliance. Colleges and universities coming out of Yan'an are bound to unite under the banner of Yan'an spirit. How to use Yan'an spirit to guide the construction of new Yanhe Union has become an urgent problem. The summer social practice group led by me studied Yan'an Spirit on the spot in Yan'an and visited nine alliance colleges and universities in Yan'an and Beijing, offering advice and suggestions for the nine alliance colleges and universities, and contributing to the inheritance of Yan'an spirit. At last, the practice group won the honor of the school level special prize, and our inheritance of red gene and practice of Yan'an spirit are always on the way, and the mission and responsibility of youth voice for the times in the new era are always on the way.
"It's a long way to go. I'll go up and down.". Although I have made some small achievements, as a young man in the new era, I still feel that I have too many deficiencies when I shoulder the mission of building a socialist modern powerful country. From time to time, looking back at the road and meditating on the original mind, we will have the direction and motivation to continue to move forward.
