March 22nd -4 19, the second Beijing University artificial intelligence academic forum jointly sponsored by the graduate Association of automation college of Beijing Institute of Technology and the graduate Association of Automation Department of Tsinghua University was successfully held. In this academic forum, domestic famous experts, outstanding graduate students and enterprise representatives from AI related fields are invited to gather together to carry out academic exchanges around the basic research, theoretical innovation and industrial application of AI, and build a high-level academic sharing platform in the field of AI in Beijing universities. During the epidemic, this activity was conducted in a new form of online academic forum. The forum is divided into opening ceremony, visual image sub forum, artificial intelligence application sub forum, embedded and power electronic technology and data mining and network security sub forum, complex system control sub forum, intelligent unmanned platform sub forum and academician special lecture and closing ceremony.
During the forum, Guan Xiaohong, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dean of School of electronic information engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Chair Professor of Automation Department of Tsinghua University and director of intelligent and network system research center, was invited to give a special lecture.
In his lecture, Guan Xiaohong introduced a large number of vivid cases of "two modernizations and one integration" - networking, intelligence and Information Physics integration, which is the development trend of information science and technology, the international scientific frontier and national major demand, and also injected new energy into the development of automation discipline. Guan Xiaohong encouraged everyone to say that talents with automation discipline background can play a very important role in the coming new industrial revolution, new technology revolution and new energy revolution. He hoped that everyone could study hard and contribute to the construction of "two modernizations and one integration" of the country.
Professor Zhang Tao, director of Automation Department of Tsinghua University, made a special report entitled "the development of automation driven by artificial intelligence technology". Zhang Tao shared some typical events of artificial intelligence in the lecture, which indicates that the new subject of artificial intelligence has risen and developed rapidly, while artificial intelligence and automation are closely combined, with the figure of artificial intelligence in system, control, information theory, etc.
Liu Chenglin, deputy director of Institute of automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made a report entitled "pattern recognition for open environment". In the report, Liu Chenglin focuses on the task of learning classifiers for the open world and some popular continuous learning methods.
Professor Xia Yuanqing, Dean of automation college of Beijing University of technology, made a report entitled "theory and application of Intelligent Cloud Control System", which showed the research work of cloud control system in teaching and research. Xia Yuanqing, taking "cloud supervisor" of Wuhan leishenshan hospital as an example, led to the outbreak of "cloud era", introduced the architecture of cloud control system and the concept and connotation of Intelligent Cloud control.
In the sub forum, Professor Li Shao, Department of automation, Tsinghua University, made a report entitled "artificial intelligence, network pharmacology and cancer prevention". Li introduced his research achievements in the network pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine, and focused on sharing the innovative breakthroughs in the new generation of Chinese and Western medicine research mode and the intelligent mode of major diseases research. Professor Sun Jian, vice president of automation college of Beijing University of technology, made a report entitled "analysis and control of networked system". Based on the research background of networked control, Sun Jian introduces the current research work of the team from three aspects: the stability of networked system, the controller design of networked system and the information security of networked system. In addition, Professor Shi Dawei, Associate Professor Dong Lei, Associate Professor Lu Jiwen, Associate Professor Gu Geun and Associate Professor Jia Qingshan of the Automation Department of Tsinghua University also made wonderful reports and shares in the sub forums on visual image, artificial intelligence application, embedded and power electronic technology, complex system control and intelligent unmanned platform.
Although affected by the epidemic situation, we can not visit the scene for exchange and study, but the enthusiasm for academic exchange has not been weakened at all. This academic forum is held in the form of online conference and BiliBili live broadcast. During the forum, the total number of participants of Tencent conference platform is 1200, and the total number of participants of Bili live broadcast platform is 4000. The teachers and students at the meeting overcame the difficulty of face-to-face communication, carried out academic exchanges through voice questions and chat rooms, actively asked questions, and conducted in-depth discussions on various aspects of academic issues. In addition to Tsinghua University, Beijing University of technology, Beijing University of science and technology and other Beijing University students, students and scholars from National Defense University of science and technology, Northeast University and other universities came to participate.
In this special period of epidemic prevention and control, the forum, centering on the tenet of "anti epidemic and non-stop learning", has provided a great academic meal for teachers and students, enriched the scientific research and teaching content during the epidemic period of teachers and students, and built a good platform for academic exchange and thinking collision between teachers and students of automatic chemistry.
