In 2000, he received his doctorate from Nanjing University of science and technology. Since 2007, he has been a professor in the computer department of Shanghai Jiaotong University. At present, he is a long-term professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University. As a visiting scholar, he went to Stanford University for many times for cooperative research. The main research directions are: intelligent data analysis, network and service computing, collaborative information system. In the past five years, he has presided over nearly 30 projects, including a number of national key R & D plans / 863 projects, NSFC projects, key projects of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and conducted cooperative research with domestic and foreign units. The results are applied to intelligent operation and maintenance, personalized tourism services and personalized medical fields. It has won 7 provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress, and has been selected into the New Century Excellent Talents funding program of the Ministry of education.
