In high-end manufacturing fields such as aerospace, automotive lightweighting, and wind turbine blades, the interfacial bonding performance of composite materials directly determines product lifespan. Anhui Aiyota's 3-(methacryloyloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane (IOTA-570) offers an innovative solution to this challenge.
IOTA-570 has a unique molecular structure, containing both hydrolyzable trimethoxysilane groups and polymerizable methacryloyloxy groups, effectively bridging inorganic materials (glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (acrylate resins, unsaturated polyesters, epoxy resins). Real-world testing data shows that after treatment with this coupling agent, the dry and wet mechanical strength of composite materials increases by more than 30%, and water resistance is significantly improved.
This product excels in five core applications: reducing costs and improving flexural strength in polyester-reinforced materials; improving fiber-resin compatibility in glass fiber impregnation treatment; optimizing wet electrical properties in the wire and cable industry; enhancing the bonding force between silica, glass, metal oxides, and the matrix in filler treatment; and improving adhesion to inorganic materials and lowering curing temperature in adhesives and coatings.
IOTA-570 has a purity of ≥97.0% and is available in various packaging sizes from 5Kg to 1000Kg. It has been verified by multiple downstream companies and has become the preferred solution for replacing imported silane coupling agents with domestically produced ones.
