With the increasing demands for material performance in the construction, automotive, and electronics industries, the market demand for high-performance coupling agents continues to grow. Anhui Aiyota's N-aminoethyl-3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (IOTA-5910), with its dual-amino structure, exhibits excellent performance in epoxy, phenolic, and polyurethane resin systems.
The IOTA-5910 molecule contains two active amino groups and one triethoxysilane group, enabling it to form chemical bonds with both organic polymers and inorganic materials. Experiments show that the addition of this coupling agent significantly improves the water resistance, aging resistance, and electrical properties of laminated materials, making it particularly suitable for surface treatment of silicon-containing materials such as glass fiber, silica, talc, and mica.
This product has achieved significant results in six major application areas: enhanced performance of thermosetting resin (epoxy, phenolic, melamine) laminates; modification of hot-melt resins (polystyrene, polyamide); improved fiber-matrix adhesion as a glass fiber finishing agent; improved signal transmission stability as a coupling component in optical fiber paste; improved filler dispersibility in rubber products; and enhanced adhesion to substrates in sealants.
IOTA-5910 is a colorless, transparent liquid with a purity ≥97.0% and a density of 0.97 g/cm³. It is available in 200kg iron drums and 1000kg IBC drums. The product is transported as a non-hazardous material and stored in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Shelf life is six months. The IOTA technical service team can provide customers with formulation optimization and process guidance.
