1. Basic concept and principle of silane ceramic treatment technology

Silane ceramic treatment technology is a new nanometer metal pretreatment technology, no phosphorus, no harmful metals, and provides a wide range of metal substrate superior corrosion resistance. Can completely replace the traditional iron series, zinc series and ternary series phosphating products, and environmentally friendly. Firstly, the rare earth salts in the working liquid form a dense and uniform layer of inorganic sediments rich in -oh groups on the surface of the metal substrate with the coordination of various auxiliary components. Then, the hydrolyzed silane molecules form hydrogen bonds with the me-oh group on the metal surface (where Me represents the metal) through the si-oh group, and rapidly adsorb on the metal surface. In the subsequent drying process, the si-oh group and the me-oh group further condensed to form the Si-O - Me covalent bond at the interface. On the other hand, the remaining silane molecules form a silane film with Si-O - Si three-dimensional network structure on the metal surface through the condensation reaction between si-oh groups. Therefore, the substrate treated with silane forms a dense, interpenetrating and cross-networking membrane on the surface.


After zinc series or ternary series phosphating treatment, the appearance of the metal surface is gray to dark gray, and the naked eye can see the surface slightly rough feeling. The appearance of the metal surface treated with silane ceramics is generally divided into yellow to blue (cold-rolled sheet), reflective brown to blue (galvanized sheet) and luminous gray (aluminum sheet) according to different materials, without coarse feeling.

4. Technological process of silane ceramic pretreatment

Silane ceramic process is suitable for spray production line and dip production line. Generally divided into pre-degreasing - degreasing - two to three times of washing - silane ceramic - two to three times of washing or pure water washing, depending on the workpiece and process, sometimes in the last wash to add a certain passivation sealant.
