Aerospace composite materials—silane coupling agent reinforced carbon fiber resin interfacial bonding

Hits: 80 img

In the fields of aircraft structural components, satellite parts, and drone fuselages, the interlaminar shear strength and fatigue performance of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites are key indicators determining structural safety. Anhui Aiyota has launched epoxy and aminosilane coupling agents, providing an interfacial reinforcement solution for high-end composite materials.

Silane coupling agents can form a chemically bonded layer on the carbon fiber surface, effectively improving the interfacial compatibility between the fiber and matrices such as epoxy resin and bismaleimide. Experimental data show that silane-treated carbon fiber composites exhibit a 35% increase in interlaminar shear strength, a 40% increase in impact toughness, and a strength retention rate that increases from 50% to 75% after exposure to humid and hot environments.
