Silanization can eliminate the active groups (mainly silanol group) on the surface of carrier in gas chromatography, so as to prevent tailing during analysis.


Silane treatment is a process of surface treatment of metal or non-metal materials with organosilane aqueous solution as the main component.


Compared with traditional phosphating, silanization has the following advantages:


1. No harmful heavy metal ions, no phosphorus, no heating.


2. There is no sediment in the silane treatment process, so the treatment time is short and the control is simple.


3. The treatment steps are few, the surface adjustment process can be omitted, and the tank liquid can be reused. Effectively improve the adhesion of paint to substrate.


4. It can process iron plate, galvanized plate, aluminum plate and other base materials in the same line.


However, in terms of the current domestic technology, it is not very mature and needs to be improved, especially in the selection of silane and auxiliaries.
