Two step silane crosslinking. After unpacking, you can see that there is a package (about 1kg) of small materials in addition to polyethylene. This package of small material is crosslinker (commonly known as graft material). Before production, the small material and polyethylene material are mixed together for reproduction, which is called two-step process.
One step is that the crosslinker has been mixed before leaving the factory. It can be produced by opening the package directly.
In addition, the core made by two-step crosslinking can only be crosslinked after being steamed in the steam room. If not, it will take a long time to crosslink at room temperature. The core made by one-step crosslinking can be crosslinked in a short time at room temperature.
The production of one-step crosslinking is difficult, so the temperature and speed need to be well controlled. Otherwise, pre crosslinking will occur easily, which will lead to core breakdown, uneven surface, small particles and other phenomena.
