IOTA-570 is 3-(methacryloyloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane under IOTA, which has the properties of hydrolysis reaction and double bond copolymerization reaction. The product can be used in fiberglass, adhesives, sealants, coatings, filler treatment, casting resins and other industries.

IOTA-570 can improve the wet and dry strength of unsaturated polyester resin composite materials, and has good light transmission, and can be used as a glass fiber filler. It can also be used as a glass fiber sizing agent to improve the wet mechanical strength and electrical properties of glass fiber reinforced composite materials.

In the wire and cable industry, using this coupling agent to treat clay-filled peroxide-crosslinked EPDM systems can improve dissipation factor and specific capacitance. Also copolymerizable with vinyl acetate and acrylic or methacrylic monomers, these polymers are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants to provide beneficial adhesion and durability. It is used for the treatment of inorganic materials such as white carbon black, talc, clay, mica, clay, kaolin, etc., to improve adhesion, increase water resistance, and reduce curing temperature. The product has light-curing properties and can be used as an adhesion promoter for light-curing coatings, and is also suitable for free-radical curing systems. In addition, it can be used as an additive for casting resins (unsaturated polyester, MMA).
