Methyl biphenyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber not only has the excellent properties of methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, but also has a wider range of operating temperatures (-100~250 ℃) than methyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. Low phenyl room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (108-1) with a benzene content of 2.5-5% can maintain elasticity at -120 ℃, making it currently the best variety of silicone rubber in terms of low-temperature performance; Room temperature adhesive (108-2) with a benzene content of 10-20% has good radiation resistance, burn resistance, and self extinguishing properties. If a certain amount of heat-resistant additives such as Fe2O3 are added, the thermal aging performance can be improved. It is suitable for use at high temperatures above 250 ℃ or as a burn resistant putty coating and encapsulation material.
Methyl phenyl room temperature adhesive, like other room temperature adhesives, can be used for impregnation, imprinting, and delamination. If you want to increase the adhesion with other materials, you must perform surface treatment on the adhered material before using it. The steps for surface treatment are as follows: clean the surface of the material with acetone solvent 1-2 times, then treat it with a surface agent 1-2 times, and dry it in a 60 ℃ oven for several minutes. At this time, a layer of less sticky film is formed on the surface of the material, and adhesive can be applied.
