Single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
Advantages: Single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber has excellent electrical properties and chemical inertness, as well as heat resistance, natural aging resistance, flame resistance, moisture resistance, breathability and other properties. They can maintain elasticity for a long time within the range of -60 to 200 ℃. It does not absorb or release heat during curing, has a low shrinkage rate after curing, and has good adhesion to the material. Therefore, it is mainly used as an adhesive and sealant, and other applications include in-situ formed gaskets, protective coatings, and caulking materials.

Disadvantage: Although single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is convenient to use, its vulcanization relies on moisture in the atmosphere, which limits the thickness of the vulcanized rubber and can only be used in situations where a thickness of less than 6 millimeters is required.
Two component condensed room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
Advantages: Two component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber has excellent anti stick performance after vulcanization, and the shrinkage rate during vulcanization is extremely small. Therefore, it is suitable for manufacturing soft molds, used for casting molds of epoxy resin, polyester resin, polystyrene, polyurethane, vinyl plastics, paraffin, low melting point alloys, etc.
Disadvantage: The vulcanization time of two-component condensation type room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber mainly depends on the type, amount, and temperature of the catalyst.
Two component addition molding room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber
Advantages: Two component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber can maintain elasticity for a long time in the temperature range of 65-250 ℃, and has excellent electrical and chemical stability. It can withstand water, ozone, and climate aging. In addition, it is easy to use and has strong process applicability. Therefore, it is widely used as a sealing and molding material. After coating and sealing various electronic and electrical components with room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, it can provide moisture-proof (anti-corrosion, shockproof, etc.) protection. It can improve performance and stabilize parameters. Two component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is particularly suitable for deep sealing materials and has a faster vulcanization time, which is superior to single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber.
Disadvantage: The mixing process requires careful operation to minimize the amount of trapped gas.
