IOTA-570, also known as KH-570, is a functional silane coupling agent with both acryloxy and trimethoxysilane structures. It is mainly used in UV curing systems, thermosetting resin modification and glass fiber reinforced composite materials, and has excellent interface enhancement and active reaction capabilities.
Its unique molecular structure gives it dual reactivity:
1.Acryloyloxy can participate in free radical polymerization, suitable for photocuring glue, UV coating, 3D printing resin;
2.The methoxysilane end can be hydrolyzed to form silanol, forming a stable chemical bond with the surface of inorganic materials or glass fiber.
Common applications include:
UV adhesives, UV inks: improve adhesion to inorganic substrates such as glass, metal, and ceramics;
Electronic packaging and coatings: improve surface affinity and waterproof and moisture-proof properties;
Glass fiber treatment agent: enhance the interface strength between substrates;
Thermosetting resin additives: improve toughness, adhesion and dimensional stability.
IOTA-570 exhibits good thermal stability and yellowing resistance, and is particularly suitable for systems with high transparency and high durability requirements. In the UV industry, its application breadth and market share continue to increase, making it an ideal choice for photocuring formulators and composite material developers.
