Application of IOTA-792 in RTV silicone rubber and hybrid sealants

In room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber and hybrid silane-crosslinking sealants, improved adhesion to substrates such as glass, steel, aluminum, and concrete is often required.
When added to IOTA-792, its diamine functional groups react with the silicone rubber system, while its trimethoxysilane end groups bond to inorganic surfaces, forming a strong "chemical bridge."
The results:
Significantly improved adhesion to glass, metal, and concrete;
Can replace primers, reducing application steps;
Adhesion to plastic substrates is particularly excellent in SPUR® technology systems.
This makes IOTA-792 a valuable additive for high-performance building sealants and curtain wall adhesives.
