On the morning of March 31, 2020, the "achievement transformation lecture hall" - patent series lecture, which was planned by the technology transfer center of Beijing University of technology and implemented by relying on the Beijing military civilian science and technology collaborative innovation platform, officially opened. The first lecture was held on the online platform, with the theme of "effective utilization of patent information resources in scientific and technological innovation of colleges and universities". Zhou Tong, a senior intellectual property expert who was responsible for intellectual property management of well-known listed companies, was invited as the keynote speaker. More than 300 science and technology workers from inside and outside the school participated in the activity.
Before the lecture, Chen Baiqiang, deputy director of Beijing Technology Transfer Center, introduced the relevant situation of Beijing military civilian collaborative innovation platform. The platform is a municipal public service platform hosted by Beijing Municipality, which is located in Beijing Institute of technology and operated by Beijing Institute of technology. The platform will carry out a series of work and organize a series of activities, and looks forward to extensive cooperation with all parties to jointly promote military civilian science and technology collaborative innovation.
The first lecture focused on the importance of patent information and its practical application. First, it introduces the important role of patent information in promoting technological innovation and economic development. Then, it introduces the practical application of patent information in scientific research innovation and achievement transformation through a large number of case sharing, and how to improve the starting point of research and development, patent quality and achievement transformation through patent information. In the interactive phase, the guests had a warm exchange around the hot issues of common interest, such as patent application, patent protection, patent evaluation, patent operation, etc., which were widely praised by the participants.
