On the afternoon of April 25, the Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly organized by Institute of Optoelectronics of Chinese Academy of Sciences and School of Optoelectronics of Beijing University of science and technology, successfully held the online platform for the theme day activity of Beijing University of science and technology. This activity invited seven research institutes in the field of Optoelectronics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, including Changchun Institute of optical precision machinery and physics, Shanghai Institute of Technology Physics, Xi'an Institute of optical precision machinery, Shanghai Institute of optical precision machinery, Anhui Institute of optical precision machinery, Institute of Optoelectronics Technology and Aerospace Information Research Institute. The guests brought A wonderful report. Huang Yifan, vice president of the College of optoelectronics, some teachers of the college, counselors of the student work office and more than 200 students from sophomores and juniors participated in the activity, which was presided over by Huang Yifan, vice president of the activity.
At the beginning of the activity, Huang Yifan, on behalf of the college, expressed warm welcome and sincere thanks to the seven institutes and keynote speakers who supported and participated in the theme day activity, and stressed the importance of the online theme activity under the epidemic situation, encouraged students to make full use of the learning and exchange opportunities, and deepened their understanding and theory of new technologies and development in the photoelectric industry and photoelectric field On this basis, we should further clarify the future direction of individuals and create our own value in the future study and life relying on a more superior platform.
Then, the keynote speakers from seven research institutes gave a keynote report, respectively describing the historical evolution, discipline characteristics, cutting-edge strength, talent training, teaching environment, etc. of each research institute. The students have a more comprehensive understanding of the scientific research institute. They also feel the contribution of the photoelectric industry in the state-of-the-art field through examples, and have a clearer personal development direction.
The meeting lasted for three hours in total. During the meeting, the students exchanged real-time questions with the reporting guests through the online communication platform, combined with the brochures. After the meeting, they exchanged personal doubts with the teachers, and each teacher patiently and carefully answered them. The report of the seven research institutes is rich in content, and each of the students participating in the report has gained a lot. This online theme day activity was a complete success.
