On April 30, the State Public Security Bureau held a signing ceremony for the employment of legal advisers. Zeng Yuexing, Professor of Law School of Beijing University of science and technology, Cheng Fangrui, lawyer of Yang Baiwang law firm, Gao Qiqing, deputy director of Miao Ling law firm of Zhuang Township, and Gao Rui, deputy director of Qixiang law firm were invited as the new legal advisers of the State Public Security Bureau. Peng Shan, deputy governor, Secretary of the Party committee and director of the State Public Security Bureau, attended the ceremony and issued a letter of appointment to the legal counsel. Cheng Jun, member of the CPC Committee and deputy director of the Bureau, and Jin Li, leader of the legal branch, attended the signing ceremony.
During the two-year employment period, the four legal advisers will continue to provide legal opinions and suggestions for the decision-making of major legal matters, public security legislation and normative documents of Wenshan public security organ, and provide legal support for handling major and difficult cases and solving law enforcement problems.
Since the implementation of the legal advisory system of Wenshan Public Security Bureau in 2015, all the legal advisers have actively and conscientiously performed their duties as legal advisers, actively participated in letters and visits reception, and participated in the discussion of major and special cases. They have held professional and special legal training lectures for the police of law enforcement of the whole Prefecture for many times, provided authoritative rights protection consulting services for the front-line police, and gave full play to the "booster" and "Stabilizer" effect.
