To practice virtue, to practice fortitude
Zhou Yi, male, Han nationality, born in January 1998, is a member of the Preparatory Committee of the Communist Party of China. He is a 2016 student majoring in international economy and trade in school of management and economics, Beijing University of technology. He has won national scholarship, Dean's scholarship, first-class scholarship for excellent students; national third prize of international enterprise management challenge, excellent prize of China Mathematical Modeling international competition of certification cup, bronze prize of student entrepreneurship competition of century cup, third prize of extracurricular academic science and technology works competition of Century Cup students; outstanding student and excellent League member of Beijing University of technology and other honorary titles.
Learning: broad outlook, rich accumulation and weak development
I always pay attention to the method and efficiency of learning, and I'm willing to study the difficult points of various disciplines and perfectionism of assignments and papers, so that I often gain diverse and unique knowledge and skills and achieve good results. In the last academic year, my major ranked first in grade, and in the first six semesters of University, I ranked second in grade. I got 615 points of CET-4 in the first semester of my freshman year and 610 points of CET-6 in the first semester of my freshman year. I got full marks of probability theory and mathematical statistics, linear algebra, macroeconomics, SPSS software and statistical analysis, and mastered software skills such as Stata, SPSS and office. National scholarship, Dean's scholarship, first-class scholarship for excellent students, excellent students of the University, excellent League members of the University and other honors are the affirmation and encouragement for me.
At the same time of self-improvement, I am seeking collective progress. I used to be a discipline lecturer of the college, organizing and establishing a platform to provide students with learning answers and exchange services, and regularly speaking to the whole college to help students review related disciplines. I have also been a member of the class learning committee. I have organized various pre examination lectures, such as calculus, linear algebra, probability theory and mathematical statistics, which have been well received by teachers and students.
Scientific research: every step of the way
In the innovative training program for college students, I have 1 national level, 2 Beijing municipal level, and 1 university level innovative training program that has successfully concluded. In terms of scientific research and innovation, I began to participate in various scientific research activities from the beginning of the Grand Alliance.
As a core member, I participated in the research on "the construction of China's county-level regional social and economic development database" by the energy and environmental policy research center of Beijing University of technology. I have collected and cleaned up the provincial data of four Chinese censuses and spot checks from 2000 to 2015, and made 2944 excel tables, which completed all tasks with high quality. I still remember the days when I was collecting data at the first day of the lunar new year.
At the same time, under the guidance of my tutor, I independently carried out the research and completed the paper "the trend and influence of mainland scholars' papers published in international economic journals". The main conclusions are as follows: in recent years, the international influence of scholars' economic research in mainland China has continued to rise, the cooperation between Chinese and foreign scholars has become the mainstream, the proportion of women among high-level economists in mainland China and the proportion of local doctoral candidates are relatively low. Now in retrospect, data cleaning and integration was the hardest part at that time, and the most intense part of the work was during the summer vacation. Because of the use of English retrieval, Chinese scholars have a high degree of duplicate names and it is difficult to distinguish them. At the same time, with the help of the tutor, it is confirmed that there is no easy operation to realize. However, we have to use the method of observation and manual record one by one to distinguish the authors in the front of the number of Posts manually. At that time, I processed data for more than 10 hours a day for a week from morning to night, only taking a break during lunch and dinner.
After that, I worked together to complete the paper factors affecting Chinese young adults' acceptance of connected health, which has been published in Sci & SSCI journal sustainability. As the core member of the team and the main contributor of the paper, I am responsible for data cleaning, BWS absolute importance result analysis, chart making, semi-structured interview, three-level coding of grounded theory, grounded theory relationship analysis, paper writing and paper modification.
In addition, as the initiator and the first author of the project, I conducted a research and wrote a paper entitled "selective bias of measurement results in empirical research: Taking Chinese mainstream economic journals as an example" under the guidance of my tutor. The preliminary results show that: compared with the top three international economic journals, the selective bias of measurement results in empirical research of Chinese mainstream economic journals is more obvious, and the possibility of artificial manipulation to improve the significance of results is greater; among them, the unpublished original data is compared with the open original data, the main test is compared with the non main test, and the local doctor is compared with the returnee doctor Compared with the older authors, the younger authors had more significant selective bias.
I also actively participated in all kinds of competitions and won the third prize of the international enterprise management challenge, the excellent prize of the certification cup mathematics China Mathematical Modeling international competition, and the third prize of the extracurricular academic and technological works competition of the century cup students of Beijing University of technology.
Volunteer: dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress
Since I was enrolled in the University, I joined the Yanhe star volunteer team of Beijing University of technology, and later served as the Deputy Minister of the community department, with more than 200 members in the management department. At present, the volunteer time in Beijing has reached 220 hours. I have always been enthusiastic about volunteering. I have always internalized the volunteer spirit of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance, and progress" into my heart and put it into practice. I focus on long-term and continuous volunteer service rather than short-term and concentrated volunteer activities. I have long organized and participated in various daily community, supporting education activities and some large-scale voluntary activities inside and outside the school. At present, I have planned and participated in 24 voluntary projects: long-term organization and participation in daily community service voluntary activities such as Chengguan nursing home, homeless cat and dog shelter, Langyue garden, etc.; participation in daily supporting education activities of jingliao primary school; participation in Beijing international long walk conference, happy running in China Grammy, China, one belt, one road, 129 CBA, and the other two are the volunteers in the western region, including the warm western plan, the warm clothing winter, the Fangshan poverty alleviation, the cross-country race &, the rainbow run, the long distance race, the earth hour and other large voluntary activities in the school. And the volunteers in the 2019 China's important dialogue with Asian civilizations.
What left a mark in my memory is countless volunteer scenes in countless days. I still remember that after the end of a stray cat and dog activity, my body was covered with unspeakable unpleasant smell, and I was crowded on the crowded No.1 ring bus just in the evening peak, crying and laughing, but I was proud of myself from the bottom of my heart. In these memories, there are the days that are reserved for the nursing home and stray cats and dogs every week, the familiar bus routes 839 and 907, the master who plays cards together, the two grandfathers who give me calligraphy, the pair of shoes that are washed and scrapped for stray cats and dogs, the enthusiastic and responsible people in charge of Longyue garden, the owner granddad who keeps a diary to record the volunteer's deeds, the cooperation Tacit understanding of other college volunteers, the rush to the sunset morning conference, the countless organized public official account, the big events that started in the morning, the outdoors that need to be stationed, the green tents that have been carrying all corners of the school, and the people who have been meeting in that room and volunteering together outside the house. Volunteer spirit will not be forgotten by me. More and more volunteers will devote themselves to love and passion together, and drive this volunteer ship to continue the voyage.
Practice: reading thousands of books and traveling thousands of miles
In terms of student work, I served as the discipline lecturer and class learning committee member of the college, and I was conscientious and actively held many discipline lectures. In my work, I pay great attention to and maintain the principles of fairness, justice and openness. I also try to remind and influence people around me on the basis of self-reliance. I have also obtained the certificate of completion of League school cadre training and school volunteer training.
In various social practices, as a core member, I participated in the "Global trade big data analysis system" entrepreneurship project, responsible for database data collection, project and product development and sales assistance management, daily affairs liaison and management, and won the bronze medal in the student entrepreneurship competition of the century cup of Beijing University of science and technology. He participated in the social practice of "seeking roots in Yan'an and getting rid of poverty through e-commerce". He went to Yan'an, the holy land of revolution, paid homage to revolutionary veterans, visited revolutionary sites, explored the site of his alma mater, investigated rural economy and thought about the way of getting rid of poverty through e-commerce. He won the second prize of Qiushi cup excellent social practice group of School of management and economics. During this period, I also carried out the social practice of "returning to Enlai road", investigated the construction of rail transit in my hometown and the development of red tourism, completed the Research Report and won the excellent achievement award. As a screenwriter and leading actor, I also carried out the social practice of microfilm production of "everyone is the practitioner of the Chinese dream", created scripts and participated in multiple shooting, assisted in later editing, and finally completed the microfilm production and release, winning the third prize of Qiushi cup. In addition, I also carried out the social practice of "the current situation and future development direction of social co governance channels in China in the new era", collected data through field research and questionnaires, analyzed the diversity and advantages and disadvantages of CO governance channels with the help of SPSS, predicted the future development direction and put forward corresponding suggestions, completed the research report, and obtained the highest score of our college.
In order to cultivate noble ideology and morality, to build a solid foundation of knowledge, to cultivate broad and enduring spirit, and to practice a rigorous and practical attitude.
